Marsy’s Story

Marsy was Nilla’s “sister” and was also received from a friend of the family. One of her humans passed away suddenly. So it was quickly decided that she would come to live at Flying Duck especially since Nilla was already coming to us. She is a beautiful appaloosa and has COPD (Chronic Obstructed Pulmonary Disease). She is usually only managed with low dust/clean hay out of netting/hay nets and being on full turnout at all times. Sometimes she has rough days and environmental things triggered more severe breathing issues and she struggles to breathe easy. So again with Doc’s help we have found the right medications to manage her episodes and she lives a normal and happy life with the herd.
