Sunny

December 2023 at the ripe age of 29, Sunny came to us as an owner surrender. Due to the owners injuries and the extra care Sunny needed our sanctuary was the perfect fit. At his arrival Sunny needed to regain hundreds of pounds. In no time the four meals a day and customized care got Sunny on the right track.
At his entrance examination by our vet it was also discovered that Sunny has a heart murmur. We’ve had several horses over the years with this condition. Those horses are still able to enjoy the rest of their lives just being horses.
